Getting Started

So, you're new to the server? Let's go over some basics of this server!

1. We have our own forums where you can take a look at more guides, server/war rules, forum rules and in-game laws! Sign up at forums.sa-mp.im and your forum username doesn't have to be the same as your in-game name, for example: Zoey_Windsor - IGN, ThaCrypte - Forum username so feel free to choose a proper name!
2. You level up based on R-Points that you acquire each paytime. What's a paytime? Well you receive a paycheck each and every hour throughout the day, your paycheck consists of 1 R-Point, Interest Rate, Taxes and your Paycheck. Paycheck is something you acquire when you do a complete a job in-game.
3. You can only join factions when you reach Level 4! It takes 36 paytimes. If you didn't you receive your paytime, that means you haven't played the 30 minutes each hour required to receive one! /stats to check how many minutes out of 30 you have and much more info about your character!

Now, let's get you started on making some money!

When you spawn, you'll likely be at Unity Station, where every new player begins. You'll see orange vehicles in front of you—these are only driveable by players under Level 4. Hop into one of them and type the command /gps. This will show you most of the important locations to help you get around. Feel free to explore at your own pace!

However, before doing anything, you'll need to get your driver's license—otherwise, the police can arrest you!

/gps > Driver's License (DMV)

Select the DMV option, and it will mark a checkpoint on your radar. Head to that location and enter the building. Once inside, walk a bit, and you'll see a message prompting you to type /driverlic. Doing so will initiate the driving test, which costs $30,000.

Tips for the test:

1. Do not exceed 110 km/h.

2. Drive slowly—you have 90 seconds between EACH checkpoint.

3. Towards the end, there's a slope where you'll need to brake to avoid going over the speed limit, so be cautious.

4. The car you're using has nitro (activated by pressing LMB). However, don't worry—it won't fail you as long as you don't cross the speed limit.

Acquiring a Job!

After you have acquired your driver's license, your car that you used to drive to the place should still be there so get in it again, do /gps and choose City Hall.

Once going to the location, enter it and walk into the marker you see ahead of you. Trucker is the most profitable one, but it has lots of driving around. This guide for now will consist of doing Trucker only. After choosing trucker, you can do /jobhelp to learn more about commands and such.

After driving to the depot located at Ocean Docks, you can /rentroom at the house you see if you want to spawn there! You'll also have multiple trucks and if you want the fastest one, it's the Roadtrain! Get into any truck you like and type /tm

You'll get a list something similar to this, choose a delivery that is higher than 30,000$ for the most profit. In my case, the amount you can earn is based on the distance you have to drive, in this case, you'd have to drive to San Fierro Ammunation to deliver this!

After choosing, turn on the engine by doing /engine and you should have a red marker Infront of you, drive right and then make a 180 turn to the left to go into the lane, stop at the marker and a trailer will be spawned and attached. The marker will update itself and you can follow it on the map/radar, reaching the marker will automatically finish the mission and the money you earned will be deposited into your bank account during paytime!

Now, you're either in Las Venturas or San Fierro, go /gps again and find San Fierro Truck Depot or Las Venturas Truck Depot and once chosen, a marker will appear. Drive to it, /tm and deliver and repeat!
